Privacy Policy
How we handle the information you share with us through this website.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Who we are
This website belongs to Shishu Vihar High School, with branches in Patancheru and Kardanur, Hyderabad, Telangana. For any question about this policy or your information, email us at admissions@svhsedu.org.
Information you give us
We only collect what you choose to send us through our forms:
- Online admission form: the student's name, the class and branch applied for, the parent or guardian's name, email address and phone number, and any extra information you add.
- Contact form: your name, email address, the branch your question is about, and your message.
These forms are meant to be filled in by parents or guardians. If you call us or message us on WhatsApp, that conversation takes place through your phone or WhatsApp, not through this website.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and to carry out the admission process, such as contacting you to arrange an interaction.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is kept
- Form submissions are saved in a Google Sheet in the school's own Google account, and a notification is emailed to the school's admissions inbox.
- If that service is temporarily unavailable, the form is delivered to the same inbox through Formspree, an email-forwarding service.
- Only school staff who handle admissions and enquiries have access to it.
Visitor statistics (cookies)
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: for example, which pages are visited, the type of device, the approximate region, and how visitors found us. This helps us improve the site for parents.
- Google Analytics only runs if you choose Accept on the cookie notice. If you choose Decline, it does not load.
- We never send your name, phone number or email address to Google Analytics, and Google's advertising features are switched off.
- You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Content from other services
- Our school video is hosted on YouTube and only loads when you press play.
- The maps on our Contact page are provided by Google Maps.
- Fonts and icons are loaded from Google Fonts and Cloudflare. Like any website, these services receive basic technical information such as your device's internet address in order to deliver their content.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you have sent through this website. Email admissions@svhsedu.org and we will help.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
